Tournament Story
Together we have raised over $8 million for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber, as well as for South Shore Hospice and the AIDS Foundation. All donations to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute support research and the Stop & Shop Pediatric Brain Tumor Clinic. We are proud to share that in 2023 we were able to raise another $500,000.
The Store Development Jimmy Fund Classic was started in 1992 in memory of Brian Donovan, a Project Manager for Stop & Shop who passed away from cancer in 1991. Jim Carlson's name was added to the event when he passed away in 1995 as well as Paul Zorn and Chris Collins who we tragically lost in 2014.
On behalf of the Golf Committee, Store Development, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and, most importantly, the thousands of patients who benefit from our event, we want to thank you for your generosity and support.
